The "Barlow" is a classic Sheffield pattern dating back over 200 years and immortalised by Mark Twain In Tom Sawyer (1876). This model has a Buffalo horn handle selected for its consistent dark colour. The long bolster is made from steel and is stamped with the historic Eye Witness mark which dates back to 1838 and has been in continuous use since then. The clip point blade has a square tang, letting the blade rest at the half-open position.
The backspring is hand filed to create a stunning pattern that runs onto the back of the blade.
