Another interesting Sheffield pattern, the Ettrick is reputed to have been designed by the Earl of Wharncliffe and his gamekeeper. A small gutting blade mounted on a long slim handle makes for a great little whittler or general purpose knife as well as being useful for gutting small game animals. Ebony handle, brass linings, brass pins with nickel pin through blade for extra strength.
